I can remember as a young woman being in a dressing room with my godmother, Auntie Paddy. She declared immediate embarrassment over her slanting shoulders. I looked at them… then realized I had the exact same slipping away shoulders that she has. Her remedy has been to always wear a pair of shoulder pad inserts. Problem solved! I very much need to do the same–that was until the shoulder pad tank became all the craze.
This shoulder pad tank is my best friend. Currently I have a black, grey, white, and mauve version. Oh, I also have a shoulder pad tank dress in black! Am I capitalizing on a good thing? Oh yes!
In the meantime I’m on the hunt for a pair of those shoulder pad inserts my godmother swears by. I’m looking in Amazon, yet I’m also considering making a DIY pair from the many, many bathing suit bra inserts sitting around my underwear drawer. There’s gotta be an easy way to make my own.
