La Vita é Bella–Making Lists

I’m a list maker. I love making lists. So, in an attempt to mix things up a bit, I thought I’d start sharing some of my lists here and there. First though, what will today’s list be about….? La Vita é Bella of course! For non Italian speakers, this means “Life is Beautiful!” Each one of us carries a cross–maybe two, hopefully not many more. There are things that make our life hard and often we don’t share those difficult parts with others. Because of these personal crosses we all bear, it can be helpful to list out what brings us pleasure. Making lists pleases me! The first list will be all about the things that make life beautiful in my eyes….

In no particular order:

  • when I make my husband laugh
  • traveling
  • an Annie day (it must include shopping and some sort of coffee treat)
  • my kiddos
  • dark chocolate
  • red wine
  • popcorn movie nights on Friday (with red wine)
  • shopping
  • connecting with strangers
  • brocoli
  • There’s more:

  • babies!
  • Rani (our dog)
  • reading
  • a good cry (that seems weird, but it can feel so good!)
  • our cabin out at Spirit Lake
  • beach time
  • sitting in a café
  • the cup of coffee Kevin brings me to my bedside in the morning
  • new kicks (tennis shoes)
  • graphic tees with a good message (like this one!)
  • What else?

  • cooking with friends
  • being with my sisters
  • blogging (here on Kremb de la Kremb0
  • high school students
  • sunsets
  • taking a brisk walk
  • night markets
  • Christmas (and Santa!)
  • fashion
  • watching TV with my family
  • Hmmm….there’s gotta be more!

  • laying in bed
  • fun skirts
  • Ruby (my sister’s dog)
  • virtual friends
  • camping
  • sharing stories
  • Hong Kong
  • cuddling with Gigi
  • back massages from Vincent
  • date nights with Kevin
  • I’ll end with…

  • the Internet
  • my mom and dad
  • my in-laws
  • living internationally
  • candles
  • taking a bath
  • getting ready
  • helping other people
  • flowers
  • bird watching
  • and last but not least, being a NERD! (as demonstrated in the picture below)
  • Do any of my happy items also bring you joy? What am I missing? And what about making lists? Are you a list maker too?
