There’s a Thanksgiving tradition that got broken this year: we put the tree up early! Usually Kevin is highly against this, but a special arrangement was made since a) we won’t be in Hong Kong for the actually turkey day and b) we had a chance to have our Hong Kong cousins over to decorate the tree. We feel so lucky to have family here! I mean how awesome is it that we get to see relatives often–and now even more with my sister Mary in Shanghai. We usually put the tree up the weekend after Thanksgiving. One tradition that wasn’t broken–the kids adorned the tree!
Cork’s birthday gift this year was a #selfie stick–it’s truly the best present for Uncle Cork!
