What topics do you want to read about on Kremb de la Kremb?

This was my header from way back when I started Kremb de la Kremb in 2006.

I’m back! I took the summer off, and it felt so great, but to be honest I really do miss writing here on the blog. I was happy to post the few times that I did. I love the blogger collaborations I’m committed to. You can see I went shopping with Debbie in both June and July. Also, Samantha and Anna and I continued to feature our Ping Pong Pieces with coverups in July and cutoffs in June. And of course, I’m committed to my blogger collaboration with The Fab 40s. We featured ruffles in July and a DIY in June–my fave!

With the break from writing came a ton of reflection. That’s always the case isn’t it? While I adore posting my outfits, the break from blogging showed me there’s so much more I would like to write about. My blog is my creative outlet, and I plan to keep it that way. Before I aspired to blogger fame, yet I’m not so concerned with that anymore. What I do appreciate are you: the readers I already have. To that end, I want to ask you what you’d like to read about when you come to visit Kremb de la Kremb. While I’ll still keep up my outfit posts–since fashion is my passion! I do want to expand and write about other areas.

If you wouldn’t mind so much, will you please take this anonymous survey to let me know what topics you’d like to read here on Kremb de la Kremb. I will be so grateful! The other (big) change I’ll be working on is a little makeover. It’s been a while since this blog has received some design love; it’s time for a facelift!

Thanks again for letting me know what topics you’d like to see on Kremb de la Kremb!

Love, Annie

I went way back! Here’s a picture from one of my first posts, Italia Bellisima. I’m in Italy here! (I sure loved that dress. It was a copy of a dress made from a tailor in Indi. It’s long gone by now. Good thing cuz I know it would not fit!

  1. How good to know that you’ve had enough uninterrupted quiet time to ponder your blogging and the direction(s) you want to go with it. Do what YOU want Ann. Also, though I’m not a blogger I think Anna and Samantha could give you excellent, honest and caring feedback on any blogging issues you need another perspective about.
DON’T lose your honesty, humor, style, vulnerability, creativity and fiesty attitude. Talk about your truths, give us your perspective on your very interesting and unusual life. Revamp as you see fit and stay YOU!!

    1. Judith, have I told you how much I appreciate you. I know–not lately! I missed you during my break. I felt reassured knowing you were waiting for me. Thank you for being my biggest and best fan. This is going to come on strong, but I love ya Judith! Love, Annie

      1. I love you right back Annie! If I’d had a daughter I’d be thrilled if she was like you. Here’s hoping this is one of your best years of blogging yet!!
I can’t believe you’re already back in Hong Kong! Has your school year started?

  2. YAY You’re back, Anne!! So good to see you back on the blog. Hope you had a wonderful summer so far! I can’t believe you had long hair back then. So fun to see old photos!!

    1. I know! My hair was sooooo long! I’m growing it out again, but I don’t think I’ll go as long as it was before I cut it. It was past my boobs! In the photo featured here, I used to straighten it. I felt so chic with straight hair, but the second I saw the back of my head, I could see all the curly kinks coming in. It looked bad. I just never saw the back of my head! Now, I actually embrace my curls. But, you can imagine living in India being around all those gorgeous Indian heads of hair!

Thanks for tuning in so fast. Feels great to be back.

      Love, Annie

      1. LOL!! I’m growing mine again too, Anne! I didn’t know you lived in India. For some reason I thought you were in Japan 😀
        xx

        1. Op! I used to live in India–from 2004-2009. Then we were in Beijing for three years. We’re in Hong Kong now. We just started our 6th year here. Kevin and I just finished our 20th year over seas. We moved overseas five days after getting married. Our first post was El Salvador (2 years), then Saudi Arabia (another two years), Venezuela (for three) where are kids were born, then India, Beijing, and now Hong Kong. Six countries in 20 years!

I’ve traveled to Japan but never lived there. Maybe one day….

Good luck with the hair growth. Amazingly I kind of like my length right now. Also, I stopped using shampoo again. Using just conditioner helps my curls.

          ;D A x
