At the PTA Ball this March, I won the Grand Prize! Luckily since we had just been to Jaipur for my birthday in February, the Taj has let us transfer our winning to the Lake Palace in Udaipur. We leave Thursday afternoon for three nights (yes, we took a personal day on Friday!), but we’ll be back rested\ just in time for a professional development day on Monday.
Udaipur is a glorious city. We’ve been there probably five different times–once with Corky and another time with Jane and Alex. I feel lucky that this is our last weekend trip in India. I’ve always dreamt of staying in this romantic palace amid the center of the lake in Udaipur. And, just like our last trip to Rajasthan, I’ll be bringing the Raj Travel Bag!
