Kevin just got a hold of two new Beijing guidebooks–specific for hiking and venturing out beyond the city. On Sunday he took us to the beautiful Longxing Gorge. It was magnificent with huge cliffs to meander through on a putting boat.
First Nights
The First Night of summer is always excellent! After sometimes 10 months away, it’s just so nice to see family right off the airplane. For this First Night, Gigi brought out her airplane goody: a supply of multiple mustaches. Take a look:
Nie Nie in Beijing
Check out Nie Nie in Beijing! We had a blast with her.
The Great Wall with Nie Nie
We finally took Nie Nie to the Great Wall of China. We had been waiting for the perfect blue-sky day, alas we just needed to go despite the “haze.”
