“I have a lot of ‘man-in-nation.’”
— We received a wonderful Gigilogue last night after dinner. Gigi was going on about how we are all different, and she knows this because she has a lot of “man-in-nation,” or in other words: IMGAINATION! Boy does she. It’s so fun to hear her get on one of her logs; the arms start moving, the voice raises, and the accent is full-on. We were never quite sure what point she was trying to make, but she was going to make one regardless. She’s quite the conversationalist, and she definitely knows herself. She does have an amazing imagination that she shares with all of us readily.

“Are all ladybugs ladies?”
— Vincent asked this in class today. He’s learning all about insects. The teacher wrote us today just to let us know that she’s enjoying his questions and comments. There’s a beetle called the bombardier beetle—it shoots out poisonous gas from his abdomen. So Vincent told everyone, “Oh, like a big juicey fart!” He’s a sponge for information. He’s learning so much it’s really cool.

“What’s chalk?”
— Vincent asked this after I told Gigi one of her halloween candies tasted like chalk. Goes to show a 21st Century Learner is a different child! He’s more familiar with other learning tools—like a laptop for example.
